KA2 project implementation

From projects to strategy

October 28-30, 2026 | University of Latvia

Erasmus+ KA2 project implementation

From projects to strategy: unlocking Erasmus+ KA1-KA2 synergies

This training aims to address these gaps by shifting the perspective from operational management to strategic leadership and integration.

Target group: Heads of International Relations Offices, senior internationalisation managers, and experienced professionals responsible for strategic planning and coordination of Erasmus+ activities at the institutional level.

Many institutions still manage Erasmus KA1 (mobility) and KA2 (projects) in parallel rather than in connection. This often results in fragmented internationalisation efforts and missed synergies, underused project results in mobility activities (and vice versa), and limited institutional impact beyond individual initiatives. It also creates challenges in aligning Erasmus+ activities with broader institutional strategy, as well as a lack of coordination between teams and leadership levels.

By the end of the training, participants will:

Understand how to strategically connect KA1 and KA2 within their institutional context

Identify gaps and opportunities for stronger alignment and impact

Strengthen their leadership role in steering internationalisation strategy

Develop a concrete roadmap for improving coordination and impact
